The Facebook app for iPad is different from the iPhone version in a number of ways, including a different and larger layout. The web version differs slightly in terms of size but is similar to the iPhone version. The iPad version can also access the regular Facebook site, but some features that require Adobe Flash are not available. Both the iPhone and iPad can access the browser-based Facebook interface and use the Facebook app for iPhone and iPad. You must log in to your Facebook account when visiting both the mobile and app versions of Facebook.
Access Facebook via the Safari Browser
1) Type www.facebook.com into the URL bar of the Safari browser.
Note: You can also type m.facebook.com into the URL bar to load the mobile version of Facebook.
2) Press Go button.

3) Type your Facebook e-mail address and password into the required fields.
4) Tap Log In. Your Facebook account appear in the browser.

1) Tap the Facebook icon on your iPad Home screen. The Facebook app launches.
